πŸ₯³ Congratulations Us! Let's Celebrate GTM Club Turning One Year Old!

GTM Club was born a year ago last Sunday.

Then it was Friday. I, Ilkka, had a free weekend ahead and an empty house. For a reason I can't remember anymore, I watched the Finnish version of Shark Tank and browsed lists of available domains. Neither of these things is something I usually do. I found a potential domain for cool things, inspiration struck, and I went for it. A couple of months later, I started this connected newsletter.

A year later, I am happy that weekly effort is building up. Now, there are:

πŸ“° Counting this one, eight newsletters were sent out. This one goes out to members in 11 countries.

πŸ“ Quite a few blogs on the site. When we include news, resources and newsletters, we reach 50 posts today.

🌍 Our content reaches dozens of GTM and sales professionals on three continents. Seeing the growing international subscriber base keeps me going with this initiative! πŸš€

Day by day, we are moving towards our vision: To create a place for Go-To-Market Leaders and Doers to unite and help each other to accelerate sales, scale effectively, and conquer their respective markets.

Sales Planning for 2025

I bet quite a few of us are in the middle of budgeting and planning season for 2025. Lovely times!

We leave budgeting to those running financial clubs (one exciting source of inspiration here) and focus on GTM and sales.

To begin with sales planning, our approach is that you need three:

  • Goals and targets to thrive for
  • Available resources
  • Understanding of the market situation and your starting point

Then you fill in the gaps.
